Usage Notes
- All THRU outputs are electrically identical
- The circuit supports long cable runs
- The MatrixPortal tap does not affect timing
Expansion Options
- Add additional THRU outputs using unused 74HC14 gates
- Add a power‑on LED
- Add a second LED for THRU activity
- Replace the 7805 with a switching regulator for higher efficiency
